An Update on the Local Harvest
Thank you for your enquiry.

Our local area received over 4 inches of rain in the last week, and we are unsure of the impact of this on the harvest so far, other than slowing the fruit from ripening.

As of right now there are no positions vacant listed with our office, and when we have them, the grower will generally require workers the following day. If you are in a position to relocate to Orange, please do so and let your presence be known by registering with Maree at our office in William Street on Tuesdays, Wednesdays or Thursday. You will need to take your Passport with you to register if you are not an Australian Citizen.

Workers who are in the area will be given preference. There are limited orchards with camping grounds, so you are going to be best advised to set yourselves up at one of the local caravan parks.

To ensure we are able to contact you ASAP once we know of positions, please ensure you have advised us of your correct contact phone number. If our call is not answered, we will move onto the next person on the list until the position is filled. Please also let us know of your location so we know how long it would take for you to get to the area, and how much notice you require to relocate.
