저는 지금 대학교 1학년이구요

미국대학 편입을 염두에 두고 공부시작하려고 합니다.

제가 리버럴아츠쪽으로 진학하고 싶어서 학교를 찾던 도중 amherst 대학을 알게되어서 그 쪽을 목표로 달릴려고 하는데

사실 제가 지금 해둔 공부가 없어서 -_-;; 잘 해석이 안되요 ㅠㅠ

그래서 이쪽에 끌고 오게 되었어요transfer credits
amherst college credit is granted only for courses in the liberal arts, so it’s possible that some credit earned at your previous institution may not be recognized by amherst. for example, credit is usually
not awarded for courses in business, criminal justice, engineering, journalism or other strictly pre-professional training courses.
math courses below the level of calculus don’t receive credit either. occasionally, the registrar may contact you for clarification of a course description. if admitted, a transfer credit evaluation from
our registrar will be included with the letter of admission.
students who have had more than four semesters of full-time college or university work must still fulfill our two-year residency requirement by completing four full semesters at amherst. with approval from the registrar, one of the four semesters may involve international study in a program approved by the college.
if you have taken international baccalaureate, advanced placement or college courses during secondary school, we view this as significant evidence of your academic accomplishment and preparation. in addition, some amherst departments will allow you to forego introductory-level courses in areas in which you have already completed rigorous work. however, we do not accept such courses for credit or advanced standing.한 번 해석은 해봤는데... 한마디로 이전 학교에서 들었던 과목의 학점은 인정되지 않는 다는 뜻인가요?;;

그럼 지금 1학년인데 아무 과목이나 들어도 될까요; 지금 수강신청기간인데,,;;;

amherst에서도요구하는 이수 과목이 따로 있나요..? 제가 보기엔 없던 것 같았거든요..;;
